This isn’t a very good idea... Making less air resistance, not more is what you want for an efficient car. Regenerative braking makes sense because you need to brake either way. Plus the packaging difficulties of housing a wind turbine sufficient to recharge the batteries a meaningful amount.

This is one of those things that a proper automaker would have tried if it made any sense.

Agreed.  You can’t tell me that using a wind turbine (which you have to carry around, and gives you worse aerodynamics) to charge the battery (which charging won’t be 100% efficient) is somehow better than having better aerodynamics and not using as much power in the first place.

Yeah you're basically using more electricity to offset the extra resistance, than you'll gain. If that wasn't the case you'd have a perpetual motion machine...
